Understanding the behavioral health issues in aging can assist in bridging services, provided needed community-based intervention and directly affect the older adult and their families. Optimize Aging is beginning a new “Behavioral Health Webinar Series” this fall” to provide education to professionals specifically in regards to behavioral health issues: how to assess; how to appropriately intervene; accessing resources and to problem solve and build relationships with other community providers. Continuing education credits have been submitted for Social Work, Nursing, Licensed Professional Counselors/Licensed Mental Health Counselors. ***CREDITS are APPROVED FOR Care Management (NACCM) and PA DHS PCH Administrators.
