    PA ABLE had an outstanding first year and Pennsylvania State Treasurer Joe Torsella, U.S. Senator Bob Casey, and others will be marking the occasion with a celebration and community resource fair. This free community event will feature a performance by the Pride Cheer Squad as we welcome a new ABLE participant live at the event! Plus, you can have your questions about important features and benefits of PA ABLE and other disability services answered by professionals during the resource fair.

  2. Film Screening of "Opioid Nation: The Making of an Epidemic"

    This film tackles the opioid epidemic in Pennsylvania by exploring the perspectives of law enforcement, grieving mothers, policymakers, and former users. After the film, the filmmaker, Kenny Luck, will give a brief presentation and be available to answer any questions. Kenny Luck is an author, documentary filmmaker, and third-year Ph.D. student in Human Development at Marywood University in Scranton. Presented by The Cooperage Project and the Wayne County Heroin Prevention Task Force.
